Dit grote marktplein in het centrum van Brugge lijkt meer op een cirkel dan een vierkant. Wanneer je in het midden bij het grote standbeeld staat, kun je een hele draai maken waarbij je een ring van prachtige gebouwen ziet, waaronder ook het Belfort. Sinds 1995 is het autovrij wat het voor bezoekers geweldig maakt om er rond te kijken, of je nu in een rijtuigje zit of in een van de vele cafeetjes die er hier zijn. @nl |

This large market square in the centre of Bruges is more of a circle than a square. If you stand in the middle by the large statue, you can turn a complete circle and see a ring of gorgeous buildings, including the belfry. Car free since 1995, it makes for great people watching, whether from the view of a horse drawn carriage or sitting at one of the many market side cafes. @en |
