Vraag als rolstoelgebruiker naar de speciale tickets waarmee je de poort voor groepen kan openen. Die poort is het rolstoelvriendelijke alternatief voor het draaipoortje bij de ingang. Bij het verlaten van de site moet een begeleider eerst via de draaipoort naar buiten om daarna met het speciale ticket de poort voor rolstoelgebruikers te openen. Rolstoelgebruikers kunnen niet afdalen tot in de loopgraven maar vanop een pad in halfverharding kan je goed in het loopgravenstelsel kijken. Op 1 plek is er een verlaagde toegang, waarbij je een betere inkijk hebt in de loopgraven. @nl |

To visit the site, you need to buy tickets in advance from the Heuvelland tourist service (Sint-Laurentiusplein 1, 8956 Heuvelland, +32 57 45 04 55). As a wheelchair user, ask for the special tickets with which you can open the gate for groups. This gate is the wheelchair-friendly alternative to the swing gate at the entrance. When leaving the site, someone accompanying the group must first go through the swing gate and then open the gate for the wheelchair users with the special ticket. Wheelchair users cannot descend into the trenches, but you have a good view of the trench system from a semi-hardened path. At one spot, there is a lowered entrance where you have a better view into the trenches. @en |
