The lift on the side of the main building takes you to the entrance and the various floors. The lift in the annex takes you to the basement. Although both lifts are on the small side, they are usable for most wheelchair users. However, these alternative routes for wheelchair users are not always clearly marked. Here and there throughout the museum, there are narrow passageways and steps where you can use help. @en |

Het aangepast toilet in het hoofdgebouw is ruim en goed bruikbaar (doet tevens dienst als damestoilet). Het iets kleinere aangepast toilet in de kelderverdieping is minder goed bruikbaar. Om de toiletdeur te openen, zal je wat hulp kunnen gebruiken. @nl |

Het museum is vrij toegankelijk, mits hulp en extra inspanningen. De baliemedewerkers geven je met plezier de nodige info over een museumbezoek op maat. De lift aan de zijkant van het hoofdgebouw brengt je naar de inkom en de verschillende verdiepingen. De lift in het bijgebouw brengt je naar de kelderverdieping. Hoewel beide liften aan de kleine kant zijn, zijn ze bruikbaar voor de meeste rolstoelgebruikers. Deze alternatieve routes voor rolstoelgebruikers staan echter niet altijd even duidelijk aangeduid. Hier en daar zijn er doorheen het museum nauwe doorgangen en drempels waar je hulp kan gebruiken. @nl |

Not all the experience elements and info panels are equally suitable for seated use. The dugouts on -1, which were recently extended, can be visited by wheelchair. You can only enter the rooms via bumps and steps, but you have a good view of them from the hallway. From the outside vantage point, as a wheelchair user you get a good view of the open-air network of constructed trenches (the trenches themselves are not wheelchair accessible). @en |

Niet alle belevingselementen en infopanelen zijn even geschikt voor zittend gebruik. De dugouts op -1, die recent verlengd werden, kan je bezoeken met de rolstoel. De kamers kan je enkel binnen via drempeltjes en treden, maar vanuit de gang heb je er goed zicht op. Vanop het uitzichtpunt buiten krijg je als rolstoelgebruiker een mooi zicht op het openluchtnetwerk van geconstrueerde loopgraven (de trenches zelf zijn niet rolstoeltoegankelijk). @nl |
